AIRVANTE

Origin

Pao was playing a typhoon-season pickup game when floodwater surged across the court. He jumped for the last child on the bleachers and simply did not come down. He hung in the air for five long seconds, then floated them both to the roof.

• Hang Time: floats in mid-air for up to five seconds
• Court Vision: sees everyone's next move two seconds before it happens
• Bounce Pass: bounces off any surface like a basketball to reach high places

Weakness

Showboating: if he plays only for show, he falls; he needs a teammate's assist.

Sidekick

Swish, an orange flying squirrel with a gold headband who glides beside him.

Villain

Brickwall, Brock Mortar, who blocks every shot and every road with walls of bricks.

Costume

a court-orange and gold fitted hero suit with black side panels (under 30%), white trim, a gold headband, orange and gold high-top boots.
